I am a settlement attorney. I am available to take cases that, at least at the outset, look like they could be settled out of court. I have been in business in Pasadena since 1987, practicing family law exclusively.

There are three alternative ways that my services could be retained. First, I can represent one party when there is an effort to negotiate a settlement.

Second, I can serve as a mediator who assists both husband and wife. In this capacity, I would be a neutral attorney. My efforts would be focused on assisting both parties to reach an overall agreement that encompasses all the issues between them.

Third, I can act as a collaborative attorney. In this situation, I would represent only one party in a collaborative divorce. This scenario involves a guaranty that I would terminate my representation should the matter go to court.
